It’s December and houses are glowing with colorful lights, trees are bringing the scent of outdoors to living rooms, and children are eagerly waiting to see if they made Santa Claus’ “nice” list.

For those who have caught the holiday spirit in this season of giving and are looking to spread cheer, here are some local donation centers:
