The City of Calabasas does not require a business license or fee for doing business within its borders, however, a federal tax ID number, state license or DBA may be required by Los Angeles County. Businesses selling goods and certain services are required to have a Seller’s ID number and permit obtained by the State Board of Equalization. The current local sales tax is 9.75%
