Volunteers Needed for Calabasas Pumpkin Festival – Calabasas, CA Patch
Volunteers are needed to help with pumpkin painting and other tasks at the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival next month.
“A lot of the volunteers are needed for set up and tear down, which takes a lot of time,” said Bridget Karl, president and CEO at Calabasas Chamber of Commerce.
Normally, up to 100 volunteers sign up to help out at the festival, which includes high school students and employees of businesses.
“Bank of America is volunteering their employees to cme in for one of the days,” Karl said.
Volunteers help do check-in, assist with the Main Street business expo, pumpkin painting and other tasks, according to Karl.
“We have our famous beer and wine garden, which is the favorite for volunteers,” she said.
All volunteers are given free admission, and those who volunteer all day are provided a free lunch from Fresh Brothers Pizza.
